HISPASAT joins continents using dialcom´s technology

HISPASAT is a global satellite service provider, and market leader in Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets. With the aim of providing high quality services that improve communications, the company offers its satellite IP platform customers Spontania, a video collaboration solution developed by dialcom. HISPASAT provides this service as part of its Broadband solutions.

Spontania, which has been offered by HISPASAT for two years, has been adapted in order to fulfill the specific requirements demanded by the firm. “Our philosophy is to adapt to our customer’s communication needs” states José María Alfaro, Iberian & LATAM Sales Director for dialcom.

HISPASAT needs an effective tool to enable their clients to communicate, share information and hold meetings, no matter where they are located. Spontania is an optimal solution for HISPASAT, because it does not require complex videoconferencing structures and enables important savings in bandwidth.

dialcom adapted its solution to HISPASAT’s multicast technology. With this process, a single data flow can be sent simultaneously to several receiving parties, thus optimizing resources.
